does anyone know/remember a book where a girl gets into a motor accident which affects her brain and subsequently she is able to telepathically communicate with animals and she uses this to save a wild cat that was illegally captured by an illegal logging in I think South America and find her missing father that was unknowingly employed into the same illegal logging company? The plot might be slightly different to how I described since I read this book 3 years ago and cannot remember the title or author

Very hard to choose but I'd have to say barakamon / handa-kun
            My list is actually a little outdated by a few weeks hence why barakamon isn't there
            (Btw if u have any recommendations for slice of life set in the countryside I'd love to hear them)
