What happens when a story is spoken before it is written?

The Closing Tales is a live-forged story born from The Rough Draft Collective, an indie author guild gathering weekly to sharpen craft and speak boldly.

Each chapter begins as an improvised narration spoken live. As the tale unfolds, it is transcribed in real time and shaped by the voices of those present. Contributors are credited as co-authors, and what begins as breath becomes ink.

Season One will yield six chapters, built not in isolation, but in community. 

No rehearsals.
No polish.
Only story, spoken and preserved.
