Eijirou Kirishima's lived a great life. In all his 18 years of living his life has been well...perfect. But what happens when a past promise to his parents catches up to him and he has to spend his summer volunteering at a hospital for something called a Buddy Program. Where you spend your summer with a patient at any hospital in your local area. Expecting to be spending his summer with some old person who's barely breathing instead he's met with a 17 year old boy with a rare disease. (It’s not hanahaki) His name totally isn't Katsuki Bakugou.
            
            Katsuki Bakugou's life is exactly the opposite. He was diagnosed with deadly disease his Sophmore year of high school and his life has been complete shit ever since. One day he gets the news that his sickness isn't going so good and he may only have til the end of summer to live. And his so called "Buddy" Eijirou Kirishima is determined to make it his best.
            
            What happens when people from two different worlds collide and fall in love? With the universe against the pair and fate closing in on them. What's the outcome? One thing for sure is it's going to be an interesting summer.
