@WeltyRealTrust Okay, well I am sorry to say, you got scammed, given that I make it very clear that fanfic writing and fanart is my hobby, and I don't intend to make money off of it. And again, on my end, it is distressing that someone else chose to make money off of my work. And no creative person should have others make money off their work without permission, regardless of whether or not they make money with their work or not.
And unfortunately, I can't pay you back. I am not comfortable sending money to an online stranger, especially given that I didn't know about this, and that it was solved before I did find out. I would also wager that the statute of limitations has passed, so you can't bring this up with Amazon.
I am about to start writing the next chapter, and now, I intend to bring this up in the author's note for that chapter. I won't name you, but I will have to note that an anonymous user let me know about this unintentionally.
I am sorry that you had to find out like this. It sounds like that kind of situation that looks normal to the regular user.
