Holy cow I remember reading Fallen Determination on Amazon like so many years ago and this year, I started rereading and noticed that you had wattpad and finally I found book 2. The nostalgia is insane.

@CobaltGemini Alright, sure, I don't really need pay cause I'm just reading for fun so yeah, and I don't think you'd have to worry about it anymore as I'm pretty sure the pirater's account got taken down.

@WeltyRealTrust Oh, and I wouldn't read that book anymore. The thing is, I am CONSTANTLY going back to older chapters for all of my stories, usually to remind myself of the previous events for the chapters I am currently writing. And in doing so, I am always finding at least ONE error that I successfully managed to miss, and it bugs me so much, that I instantly go back to update the chapters, on all sites where I post my stories, before it can slip my mind.

So, more than likely, the book you bought is likely outdated, as all of the places where you should be reading my stuff have better, more grammatically correct text. A downside to whoever stole my work, they automatically have the inferior version, since I am always fixing errors. And they probably didn't even realize it.

@WeltyRealTrust Okay, well I am sorry to say, you got scammed, given that I make it very clear that fanfic writing and fanart is my hobby, and I don't intend to make money off of it. And again, on my end, it is distressing that someone else chose to make money off of my work. And no creative person should have others make money off their work without permission, regardless of whether or not they make money with their work or not.

And unfortunately, I can't pay you back. I am not comfortable sending money to an online stranger, especially given that I didn't know about this, and that it was solved before I did find out. I would also wager that the statute of limitations has passed, so you can't bring this up with Amazon.

I am about to start writing the next chapter, and now, I intend to bring this up in the author's note for that chapter. I won't name you, but I will have to note that an anonymous user let me know about this unintentionally.

I am sorry that you had to find out like this. It sounds like that kind of situation that looks normal to the regular user.
