I really appreciate you reading my story til the end even though I read your whole story, I would like to say it was an interesting read, I thought it was well written with good fantasy elements, I could tell it was a tale of a fable of sorts. Please let me know what you think of my book after you finish it, and if you like you can tell me what you think so far.
as for how long and word count , I always say make every word count, what matters is the story. I'm hoping to start uploading the second story

After I finished editing my second chapter, I realized its word count is nearly 5,000 words (I want to aim for 4,000 as a max in all my chapters). Of course, I'm going to be rereading it and attempting to trim it down, but even if it's long afterward, should I split the chapter in half, or keep it as is?

The first edited chapter of Twisted Destiny has gone up with an extra surprise as well!
There were a lot more changes than I anticipated, but I do not plan for major plot changes in the book. The first chapter may look a little different than before, but I feel I was certainly able to improve the quality :)
