Story time:
A couple days ago I watched this video about a Japanese urban legend. It was pretty much, "If you say this spirit's name or even hear it's name, it will come for you in about a week. How? It will knock on your door or ring the doorbell and wait for you to come." I heard the name and wasn't as scared as I thought I would about this. I was still scared out of my mind just a little bit less than I expected.
The next day, the doorbell rang. I became scared. I went downstairs and watched as my mother answered the door and went to talk to the visitor. My mind raced as I tried to think of what was happening. Was it the spirit?
When my mom came back inside, she was laughing. I was unsure why she was laughing, then I learned what had happened.
The visitor was a construction worker that came to tell us our mailbox was totalled during road construction.
Why did I allow myself to get so scared? Why?!
