          So you all might know what's happening in Congo and if you don't then I'll explain. 
          
          Women and children fleeing the violence have experienced horrific s3xual assaults and genital mut!lation by armed men. The majority of cases have occurred while children are fleeing the fighting between DRC’s army, M23 and other non-state armed groups. Transactional s3x, pr0stitution and forced marriage are too often the outcome. Intensifying violence, massive displacement, and proximity of armed groups to communities are leading to an alarming increase in cases of k!lling, maiming, and abduction of children in DRC (Demogratic republic of Congo). R@pe and other acts of s3xual violence against children and abduction of children are also on an upward trajectory. In both 2021 and 2022, DRC had the world’s highest levels of verified cases of s3xual violence against children committed by armed forces and armed groups.  Moreover, in 2022, 730 children were verified as abducted, making it the highest number of abductions ever verified by the United Nations in the DRC.
          
          So...How do we help them?
          
          One of the simplest methods are donation. But if you can't donate. Then you can do this:
          
          Lagrace, a Congolese artist composed a song called 'Water'. This song helps fund an organization that supports s/a victims of Congo. You can listen to it on Spotify or whatever music app you use and it will donate to the organization.
