My name is Cody(: I'm 18 years old, 8 at heart. I never learned how to grow up. For a good part of my life I struggled with drug addiction. By the grace of God, and everyone in NA and AA, I found freedom from addiction. My clean date is April 5, 2011. I've been through a lot in my life, but there's always someone out there who's been through way worse. I don't like to minimalize, but I also don't like to blow things out of proportion. I take things for what they are today. I mostly write poetry and short stories, and most of them are autobiographical in nature. Hey, God gave me experience, why not share it, especially if it makes for great writing?(; okay, maybe not so great, but I try my best :) I write how I feel, and I write the way I speak. I hope you can find experience, strength, and hope in my writings, and I hope you enjoy them! Constructive criticisms are always welcome!
