@CodyNelson509 If you have read the novels, it's not a lot of action either, sure you have fights here and there, but it's not really much like you think there is. Actually, all stories are a slow burn, if you have not noticed and why fights are extremely spaced out. Yeah, they all seem bloated because there are a lot of characters and I'm not just focusing on Issei only. There are many point of views being handled. I also wouldn't say that the other stories are more catching, yeah, sure, they're betrayal and all, but sometimes, you gotta hit a refresh. There are a lot of moving pieces, this isn't just about factions vs Khaos Brigade anymore. You got the enemies of Yami and let's not forget Nightmare hasn't made his appearance yet. Well, he does in a few chapters, along with others learning about the supernatural. Everything changes after summer break. Not summer break in our time, but in the story.
