My name is Cody Nathan Powers.  I live in Evansville Indiana and work more than I live.  But I still manage to find time to write something down.  Be it an idea for characters or a whole new story.  I've been making up stories since childhood.  Devising intricate scenarios for my toys to follow as I played with them.  I fell out of that sort of story making when I got older and hadn't really written anything down until I reached the end of my time at Middle School and entered High School.  Though most of what had been written in those days had been scattered about my room in various unremembered places for most of my time in High School, and remained scattered until I was inspired by my Creative Writing teacher Missy Feller.  Who had also been writing a book.  That was the turning point for me and my exercised passion for the devising of tales both epic and entertaining.  I dug up what I could and managed to tap a mental vault that I didn't know I had which held more than enough stories from the past that could give me inspiration for several stories.  When it comes to actually working on a story.  I had gone from simply building a story as I wrote along.  To taking time apart from my actual projects to building an entire world to find a story in.  I once had been told by a former coworker that he'd be too afraid to write a book because he was afraid he'd get lost in his own little world.   And I had realized that THAT is the way to write a perfect story.  To wander the world your mind has created and return to the dull one you left behind with stories from the one you had wandered into.  And tell the world of that wonderful, beautiful place that needs to be chronicled.   Don't ever forget that we are but vessels for the words within.
