I went on writing spree on my snippets book, sorry bout not updating my other book I can't seem to think of any ideas for it and the new book that I was planning on publishing is taking wayyyyyyy longer than anticipated so sorry. Hope you guys can forgive me :(

Thank you @Tobi-cchi_123 and @WedgeTailedEagle for the advice, I am back into the rhythm of writing again and am currently writing another short story for school that *fingers crossed* my teacher will like. Again I'd like to thank you guys, ur the best :) Also If you guys want, you can give me a writing topic that you'd like to see made into a short story for the snippets book. I promise I will do whatever you guys think would be good to express my gratitude.

I don't know if this would be a helpful suggestion for your snippets book, but I've been really drawn towards the idea of 'transformation', which could be a fun topic to write about? I don't know, heh, but I look forward to reading more!

I showed my teacher one of my writing pieces and she basically said that it was bad. She looked to the first two sentences and didn't read anymore. Now I think I have writers block or something cause I can't seem to write anything. :(

@Cognate6448 Please, I encourage you, never let Any criticism kill your passion, especially poor, unhelpful criticism like the kind you clearly got from your teacher. If writing is something you enjoy, then ignore them and just write for the sake of it. Besides, I read through your snippets book and you have some really great content in there (I'm especially partial to the monster hunter idea, I think that would make for an awesome full-length story!) And the beauty of writing is that the more you do it the more your writing will grow. Reading, as the above comment says, is really great to help with writer's block (if you don't accidentally lose yourself in the book, heh...) but I also find it helpful to go look at writing prompts on pinterest or Instagram or something. They can help get ideas flowing or inspire you to write a short little piece that could potentially grow into something bigger.

@Cognate6448 What kind of teacher does that?! If anything they should probably encourage you or help you improve right? Well when I have writers block, I guess I just read alot of other books for inspiration or to kick start my brain to get writing. I hope that helps and your day gets better! <3
