MY view of the MARAUDERS and Severus Snape.
It's true that I dislike Severus and favor James. Everybody can like who they want after all. For me James is the definition of character developement. He was a bully - yes - but he also saved a boy from abusive parents. He protected the muggleborns and he matured. He was not all sunshine and sweet but he was a good person as he grew.
Severus - is a complex character that I have mixed emotion with. I do not hate him. He went through a lot and Lily was his only friend. His younger self was a victim - yes - but when he grew up. He grew a toxic type of love for Lily. He did not care if Harry or James lives or died. Harry - an innocent baby. Its felt wrong to me. And he is also Neville's FEAR.
Both are differents but one mature - dying for his family to lives. And Severus grew to be what he hates. A bully.
What is your opinion on them?

@Cold_introvert same here like what is wrong with people who believe Snape as all rights to be bully kids like f*ck is wrong with themselves. What Snape should have done

@Cold_introvert I think you summed up my opinions on them very nicely. I get that Snape, Lilly, and James were about 20 when James and Lilly died and in that time of life we love hard, but what I will never forgive Snape for is holding his childhood best friend's dead body while her son is right there crying his eyes out. If he truly loved Lilly, he would have taken Harry and comforted him. He also would not have been such a horrible person to him and only seen James in Harry. If you love someone, you see them in their children, which he did not do and was unnecessarily harsh to Harry because he looked like James and got into messy situations, which could be a parallel to James and his pranking.

@Cold_introvert I agree with you too come on I get James bullied you but he grew up he stopped but snape you didn't he continued bullying he literally would bully other muggleborns and when James died he also continued to bully Harry an 11yr boy in school for being like his dad like come on how is he like his dad i get where the gene is for somethings but James never raised him so how was he gonna be exactly like Jame he lived in a closet for goodness sake. Neville he never did anything to him (snape) but he would bully him. like you're an adult and he is literally a 11 yr boy like I can't
