Alright, here’s my feedback, first of all i really really love that your Muslim character is Indian, there’s a good percentage of Muslims in India that not many people are aware of although it isn’t a Muslim country and so they get quite underrepresented, secondly, the concept of someone comforting someone else by mentioning Allah’s plan and that He is the force that is capable of guiding us is all okay, i feel like even though “or whatever God you believe in” does make sense, I don’t see why a Muslim would say that because Muslims believe that Allah is the only true god, if someone believes in God in general they believe in Allah-as Allah is just the Arabic word for God- this is probably only seen differently in religions that worship multiple Gods. Thirdly, when you say Barakallahu Feek it is usually in response to “Jazakhallah”, these two words are almost always used as a “Thank you” (Jazakhallah) (that’s not the meaning of Jazakhallah btw it’s just used as a thanks, the literal translation is May God reward you with goodness) and “You’re welcome” (Barakallahu Feek), the meaning is technically May Allah bless you, kind of like a thanks, so hearing it in a conversation to literally replace “May god bless you” definitely seems a bit out of place. I hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions if there’s anything that needs to be explained clearer, so far your extract seems epic :)

@miracle_ninja OK hi, so in this scene I have a Indian character and she's Muslim. she tells the main character line right here:

"Child, whatever *Allah has planned for you will take effect in its own time. You must trust him or whatever God you believe in. He will not steer you wrong. I can't help you any further but I can encourage you my dear. I love you like one of my own. Big things are gonna happen for you. I just know it. May Allah continue to protect you and keep you safe from danger and *Barakallahu Feek."

did I use those words correctly? I researched galore but I just wanted to make sure. And don't be afraid to be blunt and correct me cuz I really need the advice

@Cole_ninjagocake321 Would it be better to finish the first book, or wait until the new one is out? (I'm nearing the end of cake and confessions)
