Colleen M. Chesebro is a writer of cross-genre fiction, poetry, and imaginative nonfiction. Her children/adult fantasy series is currently under production and called, The Swamp Fairy. The novel features two twelve year old girls who travel back into time to the beginning of Pensacola, Florida, where the girls learn about becoming stewards of the land, human equality, and what cultural harmony really means. 

Colleen’s writing explores the human occurrences of life in the multicultural world of today. She blends real life historical events into her writing to create experiences that will remain in the hearts and minds of her readers.

A retired bookkeeper, she holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, and another Associates Degree in the Arts, which she uses to blend her love of writing with her passion for all things creative.

When she is not writing, Colleen enjoys spending time with her husband, dogs, children, and grandchildren. When time allows, she also enjoys gardening, cooking and crocheting old fashioned doilies into works of art.
