@NoleeBalaqua No. I was not refering to Aaran's name. I was refering to the word "ran"in the sentence "a ran crawled accross the colour, scuttling past me". As I hadn't heard of a creature called ran. From reading further, I know that "ran" is a typo and was meant to be rat.

What do you mean? (with your comment on i am not a robot) that's her name, ish, yeah. Aaran. It's supposed to be a twist on the boy name Aaron, because her parents thought that they'd get a third boy before she was born, and they only had to change it a bit. is that what you mean? :)
