@if__ian I can't promise it will be this month, but hopefully soon <3 I've had a few unexpected life things come up the last few months, so it's kind of pushed my writing onto a backburner, but things are finally starting to calm down so I'm getting back to writing a bit more consistently!

@MarieKarlsson3 Hi, friend! As of current, it is my intent to continue with the SoS series. I've just had a lot going on and, honestly, just have lost a bit of inspiration for the story and have gotten wrapped up in other writing ventures. But, it's still in my heart and I'm still slowly working my way through the revamp/rewrite of Blood Bond. I know it has been so long since there was an update for SoS, and I'm gutted over my own failings with that. Hopefully 2025 will bring with it inspiration and some much needed vigor for my writing <3 thank you for being here, It's always lovely to see you in my notifications, and thanks for checking in, truly!

@IchaNalsal Hi, I'm working on it but don't have a specific date set just yet. I'm currently in the middle of an international move right now (semi-unavailable for the next 3 weeks coming up). My hope is to have it ready for posting before the year is out :)

Just a little update on writing. SoS is getting an overhaul and TR&Fs next update is on hold until I'm back in the saddle after the revamp. So, if you see some changes or things look a little different, know we're a bit under construction at the moment.
I'm taking part in a Halloween collab currently and should have that fic posted by the end of the month. I have father visiting from the states right now and am taking a trip myself to NZ toward the end of the month so progress is a bit slow outside my Halloween collab currently but once October is over, we're getting back to high gear!

To start, I want to extend an apology to all my SoS (& Fickle Flame) readers. I was sent a concerned anonymous ask today on Tumblr (which I'm eternally grateful for), inquiring as to whether or not SoS was discontinued. It made me realize exactly how long it's been since I posted a chapter for it and is leading me to make this post.
It's not always easy to self-reflect as a writer and know when we need to be honest with our reader audience when it comes to being vulnerable and open about our writing processes. I feel I need to do that, now, though.
It is not my current intention nor desire to discontinue this fic or the series as a whole (nor Fickle Flame). But, being honest, I have lost sight of the end goal for it. The last handful of chapters didn't bring me much joy, sadly. The story has morphed into something that was far removed from my original plan and idea when I first started writing SoS in 2021. I wanted to initially just take a few weeks to reflect on how to move forward in a way that made me comfortable with where the story was heading...however, it seems that a few weeks have turned into several months, almost 6 months to be exact and that was never meant to happen.
I've periodically, over the last few months, sat down to work on it and I have a few thousand words but with no idea where else it needs to go right now. So, I've recently taken a minor step back to reevaluate the key points and events I want to occur as I wrap up The Rise & Fall. This has given me some much-needed insight into how I need to progress with the chapters moving forward and I truly do hope to have the next chapter ready soon. There are a few obligatory fics I have in my WIPs that I have to produce over the next few months, but my spare time will be spent dedicated toward SoS (and subsequently Fickle Flame).
In the meantime, I hope you're able to find joy with my other fics and remain happy and healthy as always <3

@-CVMDVMP there is a follow up fic in the works that focuses on JK and Tae :) it’ll all come full circle I hope to have the follow up fic done in the next 3-4 months.

Just a little check in :)
To all my SoS and Fickle Flame readers, the next chapters are coming soon. I’m currently taking part in a festival/collab that has to be done by the end of May, so that story has currently taken my main focus for writing. Most recently, I finished a Yoongi vampire story, Blood Bride, in case you missed it- it’s available now for reading!

Now that I’m back from my travels and got my October Jimin fic posted(check it out if you’d be interested in dark, witchy Kitty Gang Jimin, but be mindful of the CW in the description), I’ll be back to working on SoS and FF like usual. I have a few other WIPs that are screaming for attention, so we’ll see how those come along between SoS and FF chapters

I’m going to be on a bit of a lull for posting in October. I’ll be in Tokyo starting the 2nd, followed by Seoul for a few weeks and returning home on the 22nd.
Depending on how much down time I have and what my schedule looks like when I return home on the 22nd, I might can have another SoS chapter or a FF chapter ready, maybe even a little October event fic. We’ll see how it goes but I make no promises

A new chapter of SoS is coming soon, I promise! I'm also in the final draft stages of the next Fickle Flame chapter. I'm on a small writing detour right now working on a writing event piece, but it's really helped me get back into the flow of things as far as writing goes :) The move to Japan really got me in a bit of a funk over the last few months but things are finally looking up!
