Hawkins, Indiana was full of suspicious murders, suicides. Some citizens of Hawkins even claimed there was a girl with superpowers who had escaped from the Hawkins Lab. All of that didn't matter to Reese May though, she didn't believe it, not one bit. She and her father decided to move from California, to have a fresh new start after her mother took her own life.
Once in Hawkins, Reese looked forward to living out her days, away from the traumatic past of California.
However, as she'd soon come to find out. Hawkins was not the innocent town she had expected.
