Connor S. O'Keefe was born in Louisiana, but moved around a lot while growing up. He spent most of his formative years (ages 4 to 14) in Indiana. He has also lived in Texas, Illinois, and Georgia. However, he currently resides in Mississippi.

He began writing as a child, where he would write mediocre comedy stories that included themes such as sports and religion. He evlovled from writing books to writing  scripts which led to him making several skits with a childhood friend while he lived in Texas.

While attending college, Connor attended with a major in film production. Although unable to complete his education due to mental health issues,  he continued to write short scripts and skits, where he predominately wrote comedy. Unfortunately he found himself unsure of where to continue these stories after a short time.

When in the process of reading books by Stephen King, O'Keefe was inspired to try out a horror short story, which ultimately led to the beginning of his first horror tale, "The Hunchback."

Outside of Stephen King, some of his other inspirations include authors such as Vincent V. Cava, Matt Dymerski, H.G. Wells, H.P. Lovecraft, and C.K. Walker. His interest in horror began with the Creepypasta internet phenomenon, and grew even more with listening to the MrCreepyPasta youtube channel.
