“you are bleeding, maze…. you are wounded” the demon knelt/crouched at his daughters side/beside his daughter, worry and concern was evident on his features and in his voice. the sight of mazikeen of the lilim in a wounded and vulnerable state distressed lilu. lilu was wounded as well, though the only thing that mattered was maze, nothing else mattered.
the raven haired demon removed his coat/jacket, firmly pressing the material against the most life threatening of his child’s wounds/injuries. with great care, he soon wrapped the article of clothing around the wound and tied it off, his hands covered in his daughters blood.
《 @sovereignofpurgatory 》 Maze’s eyes immediately narrowed at the concern in his voice. She glanced down at the blood soaking through his makeshift bandage, then back up at him with a look that was equal parts irritation and defiance. “I’m fine” the words came out far too quickly to be convincing. She shifted as though intending to stand, only for the movement to pull sharply at the wound. A brief grimace crossed her features before she buried it beneath another scowl “stop fussing.” Maze reached for his wrist, attempting to pull his bloodied hands away from her “you’re bleeding too” her gaze hardened “so worry about yourself, Lilu. I don’t need you hovering over me like some—” she paused, searching for the word with visible annoyance, “—worried /father/“ there was a faint crack in her voice on the last word. She hated that he’d noticed she was hurt. Hated even more that she secretly didn’t want him to let go “I’ve survived worse,” she muttered, looking away “this is nothing” a beat passed. Then, more stubbornly: “And I’m not going anywhere. So stop looking at me like I’m dying.” ;// I have her calling Lilu father for now , but if you wish for her to Lilu something else then let me know ! Unless you’d like me to alternate between both then I could totally do that also :)
/ / I'm uncertain as to whether maze would call lilu her mum or her dad- i am contemplating maybe/perhaps giving lilu he/she him/her pronouns or even they/them
