Protip: If you're unsure of what to say in a conversation, try "So, it has come to this". It immediately makes a lot of dramatic tension and is a valid observation to pretty much EVERY situation I can think of .
          
          Example:
          "We ran out of cat food Cookehz!"
          "So... It has come to /this/"

"My pet dog died..."
          "Oh, I'm so sorry!"
          "Why? It isn't YOUR fault"
          "Oh, Sharen... That's so sweet of you but we both know what I did."
          
          "My aunt's apartment was on fire this weekend! She's in the hospital..."
          "Oh Veronica, I'm so sorry about that!"
          "It wasn't your fault, so don't apologize"
          "Oh! I didn't tell you? Well... This is awkward..."
          
          It annoys me so much when people interpret an oh-so-obviously sympathetic "I'm sorry" as an apology, so I've started responding by making it one.
          The reactions are just pure GOLD :3

"I'm sorry" and "My bad" mean the same thing unless you're at a funeral
