Sorry guys For being inactive for a few weeks! My laptop has been out and I find it really difficult to write on my phone. Thanks for being understanding I’ll update hopefully this week.

Guys, ya'll don't know how pumped I am to see the numbers my book slowly climbing. I am just so grateful for all of ya'll that take the time to read something of mine. This is such a huge motivation for me to stick with my dreams, and to continue pushing towards my goal of finishing my first novel.

Happy Sunday Folks!!! In two days we will be starting the new year, so I hope all ya'll find something new you want to try or something that is worth continuing. A good poem to reflect on for the end of this year is called "The Man in the Glass".  The poem says," When you get what you want in your struggle for wealth, and the world makes you king for a day, just go to the mirror and look at yourself: And see what that man has to say!
          It isn't your father or mother or wife, who judgment upon you must pass, the one whose verdict counts most in your life: Is the one staring back in the glass.
          He's the one you must satisfy beyond all the rest, For he's with you right up to the end... And you have passed your most difficult test: If the man in the glass is your friend.
          You may be one who got a good break- then think you're a wonderful guy; But the man in the glass says you're only a fake; If you can't look him straight in the eye.
          You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years.. And get pats on the back as you pass: But your final reward will be heartaches and tears: If you've cheated THE MAN IN THE GLASS!"-Anon.

The most frustrating part of writing a new book, is stressing whether or not other's will like it.  But recently I stumbled on an old quote that gave me comfort it says, "Books are mirrors, you only see in them what you have already have inside of you."-"The Shadow of the Wind." The things that I write about and express my emotions within, will have a different affect on each individual, but this isn't just about the readers but how it changes me as the author. If I do it right, I can shape the thoughts and ideas into something bigger and more beautiful then what I thought was even possible.
