hiii! before y’all start having war flashbacks from the 2025 drought, i just wanted to give a heads up that i haven’t dropped off the face of the earth again, i’ve just been busy dealing with personal matters and real life. chapter 41 is still being written and will be up by the end of this week or next week.i’d rather take the extra time and give you something that actually hits than rush it and publish mid slop just because i feel guilty about a timeline i made up in my own head. thank you for being patient w me. again. still. always. y’all are genuinely insane for sticking around and i mean that as the highest compliment i have available to me <<3

hi. i know. it’s been over a year. T_T
          short version: i got diagnosed with adhd, which explains a LOT about the last twelve months and honestly my entire life, and i’m going to be medicated soon. which means i can actually sit down and write instead of opening the doc, staring at it for ten seconds, and closing it again (which yes, ive been doing exactly that for almost a year, wanting to write but just… not being able to) 
          chapter 39 is finally DONE. fully written. i’m proofreading and fixing a few things and then it’s going up either in a few hours or tomorrow.
          and to everyone who kept commenting on my wall to check on me: i saw every single one. i’m not abandoning this series. i promised you an ending and you’re getting one <3

If you’re still in school/uni, look into exam accommodations like extra time, rest breaks, private room, etc. ADHD qualifies for them and it can make a huge difference.

if you got a notification saying that chapter 39 was published, that was only a test to see if the notifications bug was fixed and my chapter update notifs were finally being delivered again. i only republished chapter 37 just so anyone who wasn’t alerted the first time, got the notification
