Not going to lie, I’ve literally never cared about the Fantastic Four in my life, but the trailer really won me over. I think the visuals for Sue’s powers alone could get me to watch (the force field reflect light like a bubble!!! I’ve never thought of that, super power nerd in me is screaming.)
ok so I looked it up and apparently she turns invisible by controlling light so this effect is perfect, great way to tie together two kinda unrelated powers.
Funko made fücking skibidi toilet figures before one (1) post transition Viktor Hagreeves pop. Truly the least favorite child of all time.
I finally broke and bought a Youtooz. I don't even like them, they're kinda ugly (it's the eyes and lack of nose, it gets to me) and definitely over priced, but I just wanted SOMETHING for Viktor.
Gave an OC the ability to “control color” as a bit, but I’m quickly realizing this is the best idea I’ve had in weeks.
Current breakthrough is deciding they can turn invisible by making themself, like, ultra-violet or some other shrimp-o-vision color that can’t be perceived by humans.
Is that how it would actually work? IDK, probably not, but it’s for an MCU OC so it doesn’t really matter.

Got my first flag from Pinterest.
Love when they flag my largest collection ("Apply Fics 1", because there was 1,030 pins and 33 sections and I had to make an "Apply Fics 2") but don't tell me which pins are the problem. (Actually, they seem to know what they want me to remove, so why don't they?)
Luckily most of those sections are just old characters that didn't even get in. I kept them because I was keeping the characters to use again, and didn't want to collect new pins, but since I've never done that I can just delete them. Main issue will be going through the rest and finding out how to delete anything (TBH I have zero idea how Pinterest works outside of collecting images so...RIP)
I guess my point is IDK if that will affect anyone who is using my characters, since I'll be privating the collection while I work it out.
Getting into MCU fics and finding a surprising amount of Spider-Man fics end at Endgame.
Like idk if it’s just timing (they finished the fics before the sequels came out and weren’t interesting in coming back to the fics when they did) but it has me like. Guys. If you’re making an OC x Canon fic, I would think you’d want the other 2/3rds of the love interest’s content!
It’s also possibly just burn out? Most of these fics start all the way back in Avengers and write most of the movies between that and Endgame.
I admit this post is less about Spider-Man and more because I want Far From Home and No Way Home fics, but it’s still interesting.
Dude I don’t have TikTok and I don’t plan to get it, so can someone tell me if those fúcking restoration pop ups are legit? The ones being like “Thanks to President Trump’s effort, TikTok is back”??
Like I’m not surprised that him and his supporters would pretend that he was TikTok’s savior after pushing to ban it since his first term, but this is so fast it has to be a bit. Right?
I would have thought they’d wait so people could forget. Draw on people’s short term memory and all that. The internet is fücking with me, right?
The only explanation I can think of if it’s true is they’re panicking about everyone moving to that other, even more Chinese app (IDK the name, like I said I don’t have or care about TikTok beyond the political issues around it’s banning.)
@Coruscant_Cosmonaut in the cold open of snl last night they made a joke about how tiktok helped get trump elected. i woke up today and it was back. now i'm not saying that that joke made him realize he could use it for his own personal gain but im also not not saying that...
@saImondean Yeah, that’s what I meant when I said since his first term. Late in the first term, but definitely during it. He’s been THE anti-TikTok guy and now they’re acting like he’s its savior? Feels fishy to me.
Unspoken struggle of fanfiction is that I have a good amount of faceclaims I want to use without OCs that fit them and a lot of OCs without faceclaims that fit them.
Admittedly that second one is a LOT easier to fix than the first but STILL. You get the point.
(Yes I know I could just suck it up and use my stored faceclaims for my OCs but LISTEN. Not using faceclaims/drawing my OCs has made me so fúcking picky, if it isn’t a perfect match I don’t want it anymore lmao)
You know, when I said I was hoping to get new chapters of Playing Monsters out before class took over my life I severely underestimated how quickly that would happen.
Wtf do you mean we’re starting with a 400+ page book?? On top of reading for every OTHER class??
Good news is I'm getting back into Shadow & Bone. Apparently all it took was dîcking around on personal projects instead of writing anything I was supposed to (I managed to plan and write an entire Agatha All Along fic in two week WTF is wrong with me –)
BUT I'm hoping for a new chapter of Playing Monster soon. :) Preferably before the next school semester sucks up all my energy again.
