So, this is rather sudden, but I might have a whole new story coming out sometime in the next few days. Though, it isn't about Sonic.

Let's just say I've developed quite a huge liking for LoZ recently...

Though this is just a few days late, I simply must wish a glorious 20th anniversary to Sonic X.
An iconic work of fiction as well as an inspiration, this series is a fantastic, otherworldly adventure that served as my younger self's introduction to the Sonic franchise, as well as the sheer joy that comes with embracing it. Though it wasn't without flaws, the bold and ambitious stories it told, especially in its third season, have brought me a unique sense of excitement, happiness, and hope unlike any other. For many and myself, they created amazing dreams and wishes to appreciate what this series and Sonic represent...and that is freedom and discovery, cherishing the beauty of bonds and living in the moment while also looking forward to the opportunities of the future, and finding a home in yourself and others in this grand journey that life is all about.
          Absolutely remarkable.
Again, I wish Sonic X the best 20th anniversary. What began as something thrilling has become timeless, with a legacy that is just as extraordinary. Without it, I would never be the person I am today, and words cannot express how grateful I am that it found its way into my life <3

Hey! So, remember I announced a few weeks ago that I would be keeping you all updated on the progress of the Dead of Night remake? Well, I'm currently in the middle of planning and writing out everything that'll give this new story form! It's going to be a lot of note-taking, not only since I've planned for this to be a multi-book series from the beginning, but also because I'm now adding much more to the plot and overall world-building than I would have previously.
I have to admit, I'm excited for this story to come back bigger and better than before. It gives me a chance to take everything I've learned recently and use it to breathe new life into this long-time idea of mine that's quickly growing. I hope you're all just as excited!

And so, I'd like to ask my first question to all of you.

There've been occasions here on Wattpad where I've seen writers include music in some of their stories' chapters, to give readers a better sense of what the atmosphere and tone are like at a given part in a story. And lately, I've been listening to some game music that I think would fit really well at some points in Dead of Night. At the same time, though, I'm not sure if the inclusion of music would actually be distracting or disrupt the flow of reading, which is the last thing I want for this.

So, what do you think? Would you want music to be added to some of the chapters? Would it help set the tone for the story and its progression? Or would it feel out of place and interrupt any reading? I'm totally fine with either, but I think it would be best to have your honest opinions so this series can be at its best.

But anyway, that's all there is for today! I'll continue to keep you guys posted as I keep working on this project!

So, as I announced last week, I'm going to be working on somewhat of an overhaul of my account, in terms of both its style and stories. I'll be gradually making these changes over the next few days.
Alongside that, the remake of the Dead of Night series will be in the works, and for now, I'll be focusing solely on this until I'm able to free up some more time. I am hoping to actually start branching out my writing to other franchises in the future, but I'm playing everything by ear, so I'll let you all know how that goes.

That's all I have for now! I will announce any notable updates as I start working on my current plan!

Hello, and happy 2023!

So I've decided to return once more after taking some months off from writing, as it hasn't been my priority for some time. It's given me a while to think things over in terms of what I wanted my interest in storytelling to look like in the foreseeable future, and I have made my decision.

In the coming days/weeks, I'd like to revamp both my profile and the stories it includes. First and foremost, I will be unpublishing Sonic Boys and Dark Rose Bud.
The Sonic franchise is something I've followed and admired since childhood, and it continues to hold a safe and unique place in my heart as a source of genuine happiness and excitement, as well as nostalgia for a simpler time.
However, it's for this reason that I no longer want to associate the series and its characters with themes of romance or romantic drama. I realize now that they were never meant to be interpreted in such a way, and want nothing more than to respect that fact out of love for the franchise and what it stands for.

With that said, I will not be discontinuing the Dead of Night series. Fortunately, its plot wasn't made to be heavily dependent on romance like those of the other two fics are, so I absolutely still have hope for it. In the event that it does have anything remotely romantic, it will be significantly toned down to be less exaggerated and more on the wholesome side, as well as beneficial to the characters and their development throughout the story.

So instead of discontinuing Dead of Night, I want to remake it, to start it over from the beginning. For the plot, I plan for its overall theme and major events to remain the same, but there will be some noticeable changes and improvements made to any original characters, as well as some smaller details related to the story's cast and settings. I hope you all look forward to it!

Just got done playing my first two hours of Frontiers, and all I can say is...wow. I can already see the appeal that so many other people are praising. The story, the exploration, the puzzles, the new voice direction, the references, the dialogue between characters...they all have a refreshing charm to them. Granted, I do have some nitpicks, mainly with Cyberspace, but they're definitely overshadowed by the rest of the gameplay. I'm really excited about what we're seeing in this game so far. It's a great step in the right direction after what we've gotten these past 12 years, and this is only the beginning.

Cheers to a new generation of Sonic!
