Hey sorry its been awhile but if your going for fantasy action and adventure , I would make the world be in danger of an ancient evil that has been freed be modern people who still believe in the old ways and your OC (in this story) is from a bloodline that possess a rare power or whatever you wanna call it, that was given to them by the good forces to combat they evil but can only be used when the evil is active so the family has forgotten about they power.
