@HaydynMapes mostly it was a random idea that popped into my head, but it was partially inspired by Luthros from Monster Musume, at least in terms of the quirk.

Guys, seriously, don’t ask me to update stories, and don’t ask if a story has been abandoned. Most of my stories are already planned out start-to-finish, but every time I try to actually write them out I get writer’s block and as such fail to do so. If a story has gone a long time without getting an update, that’s because I am mentally incapable of writing more than I already have, not because I have given up on or forgotten about it.

It’s times like these that the fact that I lack the ability to feel grief is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it doesn’t hit me too hard mentally, and a curse because I can’t feel what everyone else is, which makes it hard to empathize.
