@Its-JessMae yeah, I’d definitely need experience. That sounds really cool. I don’t think they’re many creative colleges where I’m around. Our colleges focus mainly on medical and technology degrees. So, if I were to go to a creative college I’d have to move away and I’m not sure how I feel moving away from my parents. I may feel different when I’m about to go to college but I’m not sure about it yet. Go for it! Seems like you have a good idea on where you’re going! Which is great because I’m still bouncing between lots of careers and different colleges. I hope the best for you!

@silver_tear_drops Yeah, I got the right one then (Grade 10=Year 11) Juniors and Seniors are your years at college in the UK. Moving on though, If you want to move into the writing industry, I’d say go ahead! Make sure you pick up many strands of employability as you go through school and college. I went to an open night to a college called Access last night. It’s a creative college that focuses on music, media, games and events. However, if you choose one, they will get you to try and incorporate the different areas in so that you have as many skills that are relevant to you in the creative industry. For example, I’m going into Game Art, meaning I would practice animation, 3D modelling, character design etc. But I would also look at the game technology side as well. We’d also include media as basic models for different 3D areas. They were also saying how many different areas there are in every single industry. Like, I may not become the world famous solo games designer I want to be. But I may still work on a video game, making models. That still sounds pretty good to me.

@Its-JessMae lately I’ve been torn. I was really focused on going into psychology because I know most positions that involve psychology make a decent amount of money and my parents would be happy for me but I really want to go into writing. It’s been my passion since I was like eight years old. Being a spoken word artist would be amazing. Will that every happen? Possibly not, but I believe in miracles.
Yeah, most of my friends are older than me. It makes sense though because I’m older than everyone in all my classes. I find that interesting. In America goes Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior. So Sophomores are 10th grade.
