I'm a very dedicated reader, the type that likes a real book, with real pages, and has a bookcase full of favourites - which I've each read about four times... some more than that!
I like to write about far-out adventures, something you can get lost in, something to transport you away from your everyday, and create an escape from the boring hum-drum of day-to-day life.
I've started so many books, but have always found myself written into a corner, or following the path of one of my favourite authors, with similar instances - and I don't want to be a copycat or plagarise anyone's work. 
I like the magical element, because who doesn't? How many times have I wondered what it would be like to just be able to jump up and fly? Or create a power with my hands? Or sing so beautifully it casts a spell? My first work on here is going to be a bit of a mix-match of all things ordinary, but with the magical thrown into everyday life. I love a bit of humour, and of course, a bit of romance. I love to write about the hero, the knight in shining armour, and a damsel in distress, who needs the help, but who can also kick some serious a**!
The sidekick ,who is the comic relief, and who also brings in some really heartfelt emotion.
I'm only really now discovering my taste for the in-depth personalities that make up a story, and not just the story line, so it may take me some time to figure it all out. In the mean time, I hope you all enjoy what I have put together so far... and feel free to let me know what you like and what you dont - I like constructive criticism, and am more than happy to hear your thoughts!
