The Coverbug!

Hi! can you make cover for me. im a first timer writer here :) i need a girl who have hazel nut color eyes and a mid- back brunette hair. actually its a 50shades of grey inspired story. thank you in advance :D

Wow!  Was not expecting such a quick turn around.  Very impressive.  Okay, so I really liked what you were going for with the first one but I agree... it does seem a bit cluttered.  The second is cleaner and smoother.  If you wouldn't mind I would really love to see what you would do with this on your own.  I mean forget about any of my suggestions... you're the professional here... what would you do with it if it was yours :)

I made #1 trying to incorporate all of the things you mentioned - museum, artifacts, guns, drugs, abandoned buildings, red shoe... but I thought i looked quite cluttered so made #2, which I personally prefer - it may be less detailed, but I think it's more striking.
          I'm happy to make more though, if you like :)

This is an awesome thing you're doing for everyone and I definitely want to participate :)  
          The book is called Gray Night and follows a darker anti-hero (male) and a researcher from the museum (female) as they look into two sides of the same plot.  The first is an internal museum investigation into artifacts stolen (while the NYPD investigate the accompanying homicides) leading to the discovery of a new synthetic drug on the streets and territorial war in organized crime.  The other involves the search for a young woman whose little brother believes has been abducted leading to the discovery that she is not the only one missing.  
          The overall tone I think should be a little darker, possibly shades of gray but I don't have any strong feelings on that one way or the other.  I've attempted two covers here http://www.wattpad.com/forums/discussion/comment/13526522/  that you could look at and get a feel for what I'm going for.  Maybe something like a single red high heel on the sidewalk outside an abandoned industrial building in the foreground with the NYC skyline in the background.  Or perhaps a man whose face is in the shadows holding a gun or standing in front of a 1970 Chevelle SS with the skyline in the background.  Just some ideas I had that I'm not good enough to pull off well.  Feel free to go crazy and experiment however you want :)

@CoverBug ah! Thank you! I really like it! Haha, actually your covers made me want to make my own so I actually made one already! I feel bad now for making you work on it...but yours is definitely being posted as a banner for mine because it is exactly what i envisioned! Thank you!
