@Covey1225 You’re welcome! I found your story while exploring books from indie authors, and your post caught my attention. I understand what you mean about editing—many authors say writing flows naturally, but editing is where things get overwhelming because you’re refining structure, pacing, grammar, and clarity all at once. I also noticed what you said about the cover image. One thing to be careful about is using images from the internet, since copyright can sometimes become an issue during publishing. That’s actually why many authors work with publishing support for things like beta reading, cover design, and formatting to make the final book more polished and easier to publish. Have you ever worked with someone on those before?

@rolx_bookeditor1 Nice to meet you, Andeola. I go by the name Covey. It's nice to know that you help authors improve themselves and support indie authors. That might be the thing new authors might need cause they don't know how to start and from where. I love that you found my story genuine and heartfelt. You've given me quite a good feedback that will help me a lot. I'm all open for learning. I have still a long way before I call myself a writer.

@Covey1225 That’s completely okay everyone starts somewhere, and honestly, being a first-time author is already something to be proud of. I’m Andeola . I work with authors by helping them improve and polish their books through beta reading, book formatting, and cover design. I enjoy supporting writers, especially indie and first-time authors, because I know publishing can feel overwhelming when you’re doing everything alone. From what I’ve seen, your story feels genuine and heartfelt, and I can sense real passion behind your writing. That matters a lot because strong stories often start with strong emotion and ideas the polishing comes later. And from our conversation, I can already tell you’re eager to learn, which is one of the biggest strengths a writer can have.
