Not really a writing update- (I haven't actually been free enough to write anymore at this moment)
          BUT I am happy to say that the Stum of Pain official rewrite is going to have an officially made cover!!! I am so excited to be commissioning @anna_banana365 on Instagram to be making me the cover to this fanfic. She is a very close friend, and her artwork is beautiful, so I am very happy to have this opportunity to have a piece of her art attached to one of my own works. I can't wait to eventually be finished writing the story and begin posting it for you all to see the beautiful work she has made for this fic. Thank you for reading this update! :) I will get back to writing the fic once I am less busy in life, but for now, this is all I have.

I've been really slacking lately on writing, I'm so sorry friends. I'd love to start getting the story out soon, but works been kicking my butt. I'll let you guys know when the first script is all written and when I'm doing my revisions! I've still only got the first few chapters done.

I'm pretty surprised I had a few people follow me from my old account for the Strum of Pain re-write already. My plan was & still is to make a chapter in the original book promoting the re-write, but that's not going to happen until it's finished. So I am super sorry if you've followed me already, I'm not posting anything until I have the story completely finished & then it will be posted on a mandatory schedule.
          It's taking me a while just because I have a life, I know, boo. I am an adult now, and I have adult responsibilities. This means that as of posting this, I only have three chapters written. 
          The re-write will come out! I won't be ghosting the project, and it's not going to be the only fanfic I post on here. 
          Please just be patient!
          I might end up posting some book progress updates here as I go along. But for now, just know it is being worked on in my spare time. 

Before anyone asks who may be coming here from my old account:
          Yes, I will be re-writing A Strum of Pain.
          No, it won't necessarily follow the same plot line(I forgot my original outlines I had when I was younger).
          Yes, the main focus will be on Sonic's depression. Yes, the writing and plotline will be better(I actually have one this time).
          No, there will be no smut(none of my stories will ever have smut. I don't know why I always had smut tags on my old account).  
          No, the story will not have the whole Scourge, Manic, Shadow, and my oc plot twist(My oc will not even exist in my re-write).
          Yes, the chapters will probably switch points of view.
          And yes, Shadow will also be depressed but show a different kind of depression that Sonic shows.
          And no, the whole story won't be as jarring.

          And also, no, I won't be re-writing any other fanfics but A Strum of Pain.
