          Dark nights with bright neon lights 
          Cars honking and warm humid air
          The stench of gas and metal 
          Alone in the city
          Skyline views from the tops of buildings
          Jumping from roof to roof for the hell of it
          Clinging to the edge of life so you don’t fall
          Alone in the city
          The feeling of excitement and adrenaline all at once
          The emotions of growing up almost becoming too much
          Indulge in all the new luxuries that are open to you
          Alone in the city
          Going late night clubbing
          Getting drunk one day and high the next
          Coming back down far too fast
          Alone in the city 
          Fighting back against things you know you won’t win
          Backing down rather than giving up
          Falling in versus down
          Alone in the city
          And i’m okay with it
