"Hey people!! Sorry that I haven't updated in a while. Bad writer's block. A few things before the next chapter.

          Avalon's POV
          
          I was heading to the cafeteria after the intenseness with Dylan. Why did I always have to have great moments, but have them ruined? And over some guy I don't know?! What the heck! I walked down the hall and into the cafeteria. I started walking over to where I saw Galexyi, when I ran into someone. The other person and I both fell onto the hard floor. I looked up to stare at the one person who I've had a crush on since at least first grade. Ryder Graves. His forest green eyes were staring intensely into mine. He shook his head and stood up. His hand extended to help me up. I grabbed his hand and pulled myself up. "Are you ok?" he asked in his wonderfully smooth and deep voice. I nodded absolutely speechless. Seriously, what are supposed to say to the guy you've been crushing on for almost nine years? He looked concerned and just stared at me. I started to walk away and he said, "Do you wanna come sit with me and my friends?" I nodded hesitantly and followed him to a table where a few others sat. Ryder walked up to them and said, "Guys, this is Avalon Carter and she's gonna sit with us." Oh my gosh! He knew my name! He faced me and said, "Avalon, meet Percy, Alexander, Chase, Assisi, and Rae."
