I'm Jake, 19, from England.
Not sure why I'm signing up to this, I hope to write some things in the near future, it'll all be terrible and won't amount to much, but it's something to do. So enjoy my awful horror/sci-fi short stories and/or occasional sub-par poem.
Nick Drake is a large influence on my poetry, I suggest everyone give him a listen if you want to hear a real poet with a guitar.
I enjoy the works of:
-Stephen King
-J.R.R. Tolkien
-Edgar Allen Poe
-H.P. Lovecraft
-Harlan Elisson
-George R.R. Martin
-Thomas Hardy
-John Keats
-Cormac McCarthy
-George Orwell
-Douglas Adams
-Arthur Conan Doyle
-John Steinbeck
-Grant Morrison
-Alan Morre
And in case you're curious. All the pictures I use I took myself :D
Peace.

Short sci-fi (maybe horror-ish) story is coming along swimmingly. If I keep up the pace I'm at now, it'll be complete within the week (hopefully). Prepare yo' butts.View all Conversations

"There's always a siren, singing you to shipwreck."
A collection of my poetry. Hope you enjoy.
