This may be way too late, But for the idea. 
          
          You should have her parents pass away in a bad accident, And she finally gets her act together. 
          She exposes her "boyfriend" as the cheater he is.
          Stops the partying. 
          Quit cheerleading for a while. (Have the time be a year after the crash) 
          And then have her fall in love with the guy she thinks is way out of her league, have her be afraid to open up to him about her actions and her past. 
          Make her personality be more, Caring, Confident, Sweet, And just a better amazing girl. 
          
          Then have some relationship bumps. And friendships. 
          
          Some bullying at school about her parents and her leaving her old rep. 
          
          Have her stay friends with Sammy, And have her befriend her new boyfriends friends and make new ones. 
          
          Have her set up for a huge goal for college for being a lawyer or nurse, and just have it be almost cliche but with a twist.

For your just cheerleader story , you should make her life come together again with feet boyfriend and family and such ......but then something tragic happens (make it juicy) then I guess you take things from their

Hey for ur cheerleading story I have a idea. So u know how Sammy was super drunk so u should have a guy take advantage of her and Taylor helps her through it with tht Jackson kid and the football player. Together the three of them try to find out who took advantage of Sammy and get revenge when Taylor starts to get feelings for both of the guys but then her heart gets broken because she discovers her lover the guy she has been fake dating for ever was the one who took advantage of her best friend and then she is confused on how to get revenge on him with a broken heart and blocking her self off from everybody.
