A few weeks ago, I posted an update regarding my health, and I’m back to say that things are looking a little brighter. I also want to reassure you all that I haven’t not been writing while I was unwell/crippled; it’s just been a much slower process than usual.
I understand that people are becoming increasingly frustrated with the delays, and that’s completely fair. But I want to be clear, I have no intention of giving up on PToH or ReCaptured. These projects mean a lot to me. That said, my life and stability as a person have to come first, because if they don’t, then none of this gets made at all.
Something else I hadn’t announced here is that part of the delay has been due to me being brought on for a much bigger project: Danganronpa: Dungeons and Despair.
It’s a full-scale Fanganronpa project featuring CGs and sprites all created by me. The game is a Danganronpa-style killing game set within a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired world, with mysteries that heavily rely on DnD and TTRPG logic to give it a unique twist.
The game is being developed by Megacomet, and we have both a Twitter and Tumblr page if you’d like to follow along with its progress.
Thank you all so much for your continued patience and support; it truly means a lot. Hopefully, I’ll be able to share a release date soon for the Chapter 6 Trial of ReCaptured, as well as updates on the continuation of PToH.
