hi, this is super awkward but why didn't you like my book? i'd like to know what's wrong with it so i can fix it when it goes into revision

Just wondering, what specific things meant you physically couldn't finish reading Beneath the Covers and The Purist? I understand that they aren't my best works by any stretch of the imagination, but I wondered whether you could give me any constructive criticism to improve them.

I'm interested to know what the 'don't know where to put' reading list is for. Is it in between good and bad?
          Just asking because you put my story Severus Talks there. :)
          
          And, I understand you want to categorise books you've read to 'help other people out' but I don't think you've taken the feelings of the authors into account. You're lucky that most of them have too many reads to care what reading list their books have fallen into. 
          
          I'm not easily offended, but there are people who are. I suggest you try and think about the authors as well as the readers. Maybe they just want constructive criticism instead of a category that puts them down.
          
          Just something to think on.
