Who left that glass of water there?

Things just got real in The Glass Sanctuary.

If you thought Jen was alone on her hill, think again. In Chapter Two: The Neighbor, we meet "John" and he’s much closer than Jen realizes. While she’s away at her bookshop, the "Sanctuary" is being tuned by a predator who knows exactly how to make a house feel haunted.

Get ready to see Santa Barbara through a much darker lens. The locks have been bypassed, the cameras are live, and the "Watcher" is now officially inside.
Would you notice if someone moved a picture frame in your house?

let’s just say I’m never leaving a spare key outside ever again.

John is officially in Santa Barbara, and he’s not just watching Jen from afar anymore. He’s breathing her air, sitting on her bed, and messing with her mind. I am having so much fun (and giving myself the creeps) writing this dark stalker journey!

Headline: Welcome to the Glass Sanctuary.

I am so incredibly excited (and a little nervous!) to finally share the first chapter of my new project, The Glass Sanctuary.

Set against the fog-drenched hills of Santa Barbara, this story follows Jen a woman living in a beautiful glass house on stilts, hiding from a world she finds too loud. She thinks she’s safe in her "transparent fortress," but she’s about to find out that when you live in a house of glass, everyone can see in... even the people you should fear the most.

This is my first time diving into the Dark Stalker genre, and I truly hope I can do justice to the tension and shadows of this world. Get ready for a journey into the dark side of obsession.

Chapter One is LIVE now. Don't forget to lock your doors. ️✨

⭐ Author Announcement Before Chapter 9

Before you step into the next two chapters, I want to share something with you.

These upcoming moments are a hard turning point for Laurel. They touch on generational trauma, the kind so many of us grow up with quietly — the kind we’re taught to hide, paint over, or pretend was normal. Laurel’s experience in these chapters isn’t easy, but it’s honest, and it’s a part of her journey toward finally choosing herself.

          She finds strength here.
Not instantly, not perfectly — but this is where the shift begins.

I also want to be truthful with you: writing this section was emotional for me. I had to step away for a bit and let Laurel’s story sit with me. These chapters reflect the kind of pain people often carry alone, and I felt the weight of it while writing. But they also reflect courage. The courage to break a cycle. The courage to walk forward. The courage to say this is not normal, and this is not okay.

If you’ve ever experienced family trauma, please know you’re not alone.
Your story matters. Your healing matters. And your voice matters.

Thank you for walking with Laurel through this part of her journey.

A Garden Grows — Author Update (5 Chapters In!)

I’m five chapters into A Garden Grows, and it has been surprising even me how the story is unfolding. Laurel’s inner world is opening layer by layer, and every chapter feels like stepping deeper into the quiet corners of her life. Her loneliness, her longing for connection, and the weight of the past she carries are shaping the tone of the story in ways I didn’t expect when I first started writing.

The Santa Barbara setting is becoming its own character, and the people she meets are starting to push her forward… or pull her back. There are hints of something tender forming, but there is still so much she has to face inside herself before love can feel safe.

Where will it head? I have my roadmap, but Laurel keeps revealing new truths as I write. The emotional threads pull toward healing, self-trust, and a slow rediscovery of what she deserves. And I’m excited to see what readers think the journey will look like from here.

If you’re reading along, how do you think the story will go?
Do you see growth, heartbreak, a deeper connection with Robert, or something unexpected?

Your thoughts help me see Laurel’s world through your eyes, and I’d love to hear them.

Thank you for walking through this garden with me.
