I don't understand the single mother part of the stereotype, is it racist that my black female main character is a single mother? (Her husband died at war)

@ihavenoheadphones no it's not racist, what I talk about is how every black female character have a child and is a single mother. That's more of a stereotype, because socially black women are thought to be single mothers with baby daddies who don't  care. But your storyline is  different because it gives more credit to the character by letting readers know that the main character had a supportive partner, he just happens to die etc

So I happened to come across your book and decided to read your bio and the part about the interracial stories always making the girl mixed or light skin black is so ridiculous,as if that's the only kind of black women we have or are made to be most attractive.i 2step out of there so fast like the time I have for it,...none.im all for knocking it down with whoever you like,but don't front like dark chocolate dont make some people thirsty! Lol I also like your book! Lol
