Alright, so I don't want to make this one of those boring, ho-hum "about me" blurbs so I'll just try to wing it and make it at least a little entertaining to read. Well first of all HELLO! I am Kayla. I'm involved in theater, art, music, writing (obviously) and anything that lets me be creative and release my inner child/crazy, random little spaz. I'm a HUGE nerd especially when it comes to Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I also like Doctor Who, but I'm just starting to watch that at the moment so I couldn't really have an in depth conversation about it. Ummm.... I'll just say some random facts about me now I guess.
1. I want to go into special effects for a career (preferably the make-up department so I can make people look like orcs or something like that... you do spell "orc" with a "c", right?).
2. My favorite mythical creature is a Griffon and it is my lifelong dream to have one as a pet (notice the word dream).
3. My favorite flower is a Tiger Lily, not a Rose.
4. I love old Disney movies. Admit it, we've all had a "Disney Weekend" where we just sit around watching "The Little Mermaid" and "Snow White" and whatever other movies we can find, while drinking Kool Aid.
5. I LOVE to write. I'm not the greatest, but hey, the passion is there. I write a lot of different genres. Realistic fiction to fantasy. Poems to short stories. I am open to pretty much everything.
6. I draw. I tried to paint once and then I just gave up. The flower I was painting was looking like a jumbled up mess of different shades of pink (yuck).
7. Last but certainly not least, I believe that everyone should be exactly who they want to be and be able to express themselves freely. If you're a hater you need to open your eyes and see that everyone's unique and special and you need to accept them just as they are. Everyone is beautiful! <3 <3 <3 <3
