Wow, it’s been a while since I’ve written anything on my board. I’ve been writing lots of poetry behind the scenes- but having a hard time editing and publishing them.
          Yesterday I accompanied my mom to a poetry workshop. It was a part of a week-long poetry festival! I have college, so I wasn’t able to go every day like she did, but I went two days in a row, and don’t regret it!
          There’s weekly poetry workshops at the same location… so I’ve been thinking about going to as many of them as I can.

Please tell me I’m not the only Latin American that HATES the word “LATINX”  It’s just so weird!! It doesn’t sound like Spanish at all.
          
          Just use Latina with me! And if someone would rather use an inclusive word cuz Spanish is gendered, then use Latine. That’s literally what people in Spanish use for non-binary folk. 
          
          They made it up cuz in Spanish a neutral term doesn’t exist. To me, Latine makes more sense
