I feel like I haven't really done much in terms with making a story others enjoy. I should just publish my stories but my sense of perfection and needing to constantly readjust everything keeps me from postingggg

Since I'm very inactive on Twitter recently, I learned that I missed Minecraft Monday.
          
          Though I am glad to see some of the boys whooping asssss 

Had weird dream, yah?
          
          So like at first there was weird God things and Gatorades and rotisserie chicken and chicken wings at some party/gathering thing. Lit
          
          But it wasn't a happy dream at that point like it was kinda gloomy like something bad was gonna happen.
          
          Then some running around with a junior that goes to my school and she showed me one of those sarcophagus garages for old little planes, the ones with the spinning front, and like I guess I got caught up in some Gods arguing. All of them were young, and it was wild.. and then one got heccin salt, god of time and death. And changed the universe completely.
          
          Then I was at a different place. For some reason a bunch of us (unidentifiable) were on some plane/jet/rocket thing trying to evade something that was ripping apart the machine. And like the justification that we had it was that the two snobby smart girls were fucking loaded.
          
          But like that shit got ripped the fuck apart.
          
          Then I yoinked like "Bru I'm Spiderman" and tapped me head and boom the nanotech suit just fleshed out on my body completely. That was lit
          
          Then everyone started falling :((
          
          At some point, I fell too. But I'm Spiderman so I didn't fall in the water, having to deal with the effects of whatever was chasing us in the air gave them.
          
          And like when I got down there, I could now out faces to who was with me. Class 1-a of bnha 
          
          Skurrrr
          
          So i, using a water mask in my suit, ninja swam down and started saving a bunch of them
          
          Iida was the first that I saved I think
          
          And then Kirishima, etc. etc.
          
          Then I got to the main cluster of them and some small magical seal was barely protecting them from drowning.
          
          It was like Midoriya, Bakugou, Ochako and Todoroki and maybe another?

Real talk;
          
          I love angst, it's probably my favorite way to emotionally destroy myself, but I HATE when the main character or self insert, or even reader in and x reader, cuts themselves! It's so willy nilly about the topic. I personally wasn't a cutter myself but to me it's disgusting to use that as a character trope, especially in the case of the romantic interest being the 'savior'.
          
          Go ahead; I don't give a shit if you make self harm jokes, because usually people that have self harmed use humor as a coping mechanism, but using it as a self deprecating conduit in a story is not good story telling. It is icky. It's not awareness. It's romanticising a serious issue. And maybe if the point of the character is to be obsessively grotesque, I can understand. But that "oh woe is me, someone called me a fat slut" shit is over done and it's paints self harmers negatively. If you want to write a self obsessed character with their image (i.e. weight) or maybe someone plagued with depression, paint them as a three dimensional character. Not all depressed people are constantly negative! They don't always think about how worthless they think they are!
          
          People will enjoy a relatable character, so make sure your character is realistic. Make your character breathable, liveable. If your character's defining trait is that s/he's depressed and cutting him/herself, you might want to reinstate the character in a more fleshed out format.
          
          Otherwise, honestly, you're making a voodoo doll that's meant to be cut up and stitched back together.

Also 10k on my Misfits story vomit?? Thank you! I haven't gotten even close to that many reads since I was in sixth grade, and sis, that was an awful Minecraft YouTuber fanfiction

Word of advice, just so you can enjoy the fandoms you appreciate; do not engross yourself with stans.
          
          Find someone you can talk about the matter with, someone that won't be rude. And ignore the awful comments on your stories, feed, etc. that aren't constructive. It's as easy as reading and then ignoring, or just straight up ignoring. You shouldn't have to dislike something just because of rabid fans. That's dumb because anonymity gives everyone the chance to do what they want, and people get mean on the internet. It's just the nasty flood of internet culture we live in.
          
          Enjoy what you like. If you fall off due to your own self growth, that's good! People change, but don't let others change you, Babs ♥️
          
          Find your niche and stick with it until you decide personally that it's okay to leave ♥️♥️
          
          Pick what you like and don't let anyone make you feel bad for your passion!
          
          (AND I've seen this with so many fandoms; BNHA, Septiplier shippers, One Direction kids, FNAF, Minecraft, Pokémon, several animes, and y'know what? Every fanbase has the potential to be toxic, it's just how well you can avoid it! Safe travels, loves)
