Speaking of documentaries, I've just finished judging Historical Fiction for @TheGemmeCommunity, and I want to emphasize that if you're going to write "good" historical fiction, you must conduct thorough research. Don't assume that what you watch is accurate; you need to do a little more work than that.

I noticed several historical inaccuracies in the books I read, which was a little disappointing. However, that's why I'm here—research is crucial not only for Historical Fiction but also for writing in general.

I took points away for historical inaccuracies because I can't be biased; I hope you guys understand. Please keep this in mind if you'd like to try this genre. It's hard, yes, but not impossible. Just keep practicing! I conducted three years' worth of research to write Through the Wormhole.

Love you all, and may the Force be with you!

I'm halfway through with the next chapter of Bill and the Whistling Death! I watched a documentary on dogfights, and inspiration hit me like a storm. Here comes another symbolic chapter for y'all that references dogfights, and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you! We're almost finished with this story; I just need to get through the last few chapters, which lead up to the main plot twist.

Hey, guys! If y’all didn’t know, I’m from Greenville, South Carolina, and a massive wildfire is brewing around my hometown. Mom and Dad are out of there, and I’m looking after the cat. The good news is that the wildfire has started containing, and we’re supposed to get some rain. Hopefully, that will help, and Mom, Dad, and all those evacuees can return home. I’m safe in Charleston, but Dad cannot be around smoke this time of year with his allergies. The bad news is that negligent humans caused both fires in the Upstate. Please, guys, be responsible when you hike. This past week has been very stressful for me and all those impacted. Just be careful, guys. But hopefully, they can contain the wildfire soon. I’m optimistic, and most importantly, my family is safe. :)

@CroodsGirl Praying for y'all! Mama had back surgery at the hospital in Greenville when I was little. My sister still lives in Cornelia, GA where SC makes a dent in GA. Y'all take care!

Oh, yikes! I haven't posted an announcement here in a few days! I'm here, guys —I'm just editing my two main stories right now: the ONC entry and Bill and the Whistling Death. I need to conduct some research on dogfights for the next chapter of Bill, so it may take a little longer for me to write it. However, I'm almost finished with the story, so it's fine.

I finally finished the Scooby-Doo Show for the ONC entry, and I'm surprised I forgot to include Velma's iconic line in the story! If I find a place for it to fit, I may add it. She's the only one with the iconic line I forgot to add.

I just wrote the most intense and drama-filled scene in Bill and the Whistling Death! It's the story's climax and the last enormous conflict. It was bound to come sooner or later, but I need this scene for character development, and I'm eager to share it!

@CroodsGirl I'm really enjoying this book! Can't wait to read more. I don't read much military stuff, particularly about WWII aviators, because my dad was one and wow, the emotions nearly overwhelm me. But, I've always believed, tears are a healing thing, right? Thanks for your hard work.

There's nothing like binge-watching a little Disney (and yes, there's still some Scooby-Doo, thanks to ONC) when you finally have a little break from writing, and I am working on only one story with updates once a week. I needed this, guys. I just finished Mufasa: The Lion King.

I should have never done the Disney College Program—LOL! I’m never going to grow out of Disney now. :)

I'm finally working on Bill and the Whistling Death again, guys! I got caught up trying to finish my ONC entry, so I now aim to complete one chapter a week with Bill to try to finish it by the first week of May. That's my plan, and then I'll start back with Claxton and go from there.
