Surprise surprise! I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do for my birthday, so I guess the answer was returning to Wattpad more fully??
          
          So, in case you missed it (considering I just did it), The Sage's Vow and The Paladins' Will are back up on Wattpad! I'm *hoping* to post a new chapter to TPW later today, but we'll have to see how that goes.
          
          Why am I returning besides wanting to do something for my birthday? Quite frankly, I miss it. I miss the dopamine of posting a chapter, of seeing notifications, of all that stuff, and I miss some of the readers that are Wattpad-only. There are going to be some changes, primarily that you guys are going to get really rough draft stuff. 
          - There is literally a random lore change that happens that I just leave a note at the top explaining. And it may not even be permanent. Who knows? Not me, because I'm still figuring things out. 
          - Chapters will also be full length in TPW because I don't want myself focusing on some semi-okay split point. 
          - There will also be NO schedule, just me posting when I've finished.
          
          All this to say, the break was probably good for me as a whole, but I miss stuff here too much to keep it up. Hope to see some old faces back :D And even if I don't, I'll still get that dopamine rush of hitting post. There are either 5 or 6 new chapters since I stopped posting on here (took a long break for Unholy Grace), so hope people enjoy those chapters!

Going through my message board to delete some stuff reminded me of something I wanted to say:
          
          Yes, people judge books by their covers, and yes, that means you want to have a cover that you feel is good before you post. Generative AI covers are NOT good. They actually make people not want to pick up your book. Generative AI is unethical, as it steals from other creators to teach itself. I do not want to support a writer who uses that, nor do I trust them to write without it if they'd stoop to using it for covers.
          
          Please just get a text-slap from Canva. Or even join communities. Most of them have one way or another to request covers.
          
          All this to say, people judge books by their cover, but many are judging your and yours as something to avoid when you use AI for it <3
