Very well said. Especially for the time we’re in where it’s not allowed to have a different opinion or perspective and those who do are canceled.

"The outside world is black and white, with only one color dead."
          —Peter Gabriel, "Biko" ('Melt', 1980).

@dystopiandream20 It is rather deep.
            The quote is from a song, "Biko" by Peter Gabriel. The song is about the reactions of the world to the death of South African Black Apartheid abolitionist Stephen Biko, who was forcibly arrested and beaten to death by four police officers in a Port Elizabeth prison.

            The line "The outside world is black and white" represents the separation of blacks and whites at the hands of South African apartheid, whereas "with only one color dead" represents the unjust deaths of many of the black majority at the hands of the corrupt white minority government.

So, for those who are here specifically for Star Fox content, I am actually starting a project that is moving away from fanfiction and into original content.
          The working title for my next story is "The Spymaster's Gambit." Ooo, what a tease!

MurielNocturnaFan

I just realized this meant an abandonment of Star Fox.... I was too dumb at the time to see it.

“Man cannot possess anything as long as he fears death. But to him who does not fear it, everything belongs. If there was no suffering, man would not know his limits, would not know himself. ”

Anyone who is interested in joining the Star Fox Recanonization Project team, I encourage you STRONGLY to join the Discord server! I am starting to do Live-Writes there, where I will write stories for the project live on stream, while talking and getting to know you!

          Of course, there is no obligation to attend, or even to join. But it is most definitely encouraged!

"It is the obvious which is so difficult to see most of the time. People say 'It's as plain as the nose on your face.' But how much of the nose on your face can you see, unless someone holds a mirror up to you?"

"I don't like work--no man does--but I like what is in the work--the chance to find yourself. Your own reality--for yourself not for others--what no other man can ever know. They can only see the mere show, and never can tell what it really means."
