I want to have a real talk about the Spider-Man story and the issue I'm facing here. So far I'm on chapter 144 written wise, rough stuff, still needs editing.
This is up until the 3rd movie and just before the my villain academia section of the anime.
However, there is no way I'm finishing this story in the Wattpad's designated 200 chapter limit. I could half ass it, rush the last arcs to the 200 mark.
But the whole reason for this remake was to write the ultimate Spider-Man MHA story covering the entire manga/anime all four movies and original storylines.
So here's what I've got planned. Screw the 200 chapter limit. I'm doing two books.
Part 1 is the one you are all reading now and will lead up to the paranormal liberation war, Shigkarai's awakening and [spoiler] after this book one is over.
Book 2 will focus on the Dark Hero arc, the 4th movie, the symbiote war and the post story revolving around the 1st movie.
Book 2 is looking to be around 70 to 80 chapters. So the same as the original. I really wish I didn't have to make a 2nd book as I know sequels are where stories go to die both viewer and engagement wise. But I have no choice and it has really left me stumped.
I hope to all who's been reading the Spider-Man (which has now reached 300k reads, wild!) continue to do so and follow me into the 2nd book for the grand finale.
There's still a whole lot from book one to look forwards to. Starting tomorrow expect the aftermath of the Faceless and black suit, the school festival and Norman vs Alchemax.
Then there is the 3rd movie World Hero Mission, guesses in the chat for what big bad marvel villain will be the main focus of this one?
The rise of the Sinister Six, Wanda and the Multiverse and the paranormal liberation war.
So much to look forwards to and surprise crossovers that is super.
Thank you all for your continued support.
