New chapter of Links of Hyrule is out!

Heeey guys! Sorry I fell off the face of the map. I'm trying to push out my next chapter of Links of Hyrule for you guys! Here's a sneak peek in the meantime!!
          
          He felt his new friend struggle as well with the beast's grip. He remained silent, save for a few grunts. He grabbed at the monster's hand, unsuccessfully making an attempt to loosen its fingers. Link gaped as the back of both of their right hands started to glow with radiant, golden light. The black monstrosity reeled back and threw them across the forest floor. Link and his friend got up. However, he felt a sudden, sharp pain and abruptly fell to his hands and knees. His entire body trembled. What's happening? He thought to himself, groaning in pain as his joints began to pop and snap. His skin began to prickle and itch, as if freshly shaven skin were beginning to grow hair again. His blue eyes widened as he watched golden-blond... hair..? begin to peek out from his pores. His groans formed into screams of agony that echoed in the forest as his bones broke and reformed into a different shape entirely. His elbows and knees shrunk inward, and his ankles and wrists snapped. Link felt faint as he turned his head over his shoulder to see his clothing rip to give way to furry shoulders. His screams turned into shrieks as his jaw snapped and elongated, as his teeth sharpened, and as his skull reshaped itself. His vision blurred and tunneled rapidly as his bellows of pain became a loud, high-pitched howl that pierced the very skies above him.

          "Have you ever talked to her since then?" I asked Natsu, tilting my head to the side. 
          Natsu gave a heavy sigh, shaking his head. "I can't even look at her without getting angry. She betrayed me, Rosie. Said she would stay by my side, yet turned around and stabbed me in the back. She promised me loyalty, but turned around and lied afterwards."
          My heart ached for Natsu, every beat making it squeeze tighter and heavier. I laid a hand over his, leaning forward to be inches from his face. "Well, I promise to never ever end up like her." 
          Natsu looked up at me with those mesmerizing emerald eyes, and smiled. He reached up with one hand, laying it over top of my head. "Thank you, Rosie."

I'd like to take a moment and share some things about a character I'm working on. Her name is Violet Livingston, and she's going to be the main focus of one of my upcoming fanfictions. She is of Celtic descent. Well, more of a headcanon-Celtic sort of ancestry. I based her homeland off of Ireland. She's also got high-functioning autism, much like me! :D So you'll get to take a peek as to what it's like to be autistic, just a little bit. (I'm not technically super on-spectrum, since I only have Asperger's Syndrome, so it's not like it's a deep look into autism. I just like to bring awareness to neurotypical people as to what it's like to be wired differently! :D)

There's a huge setback lately, I apologize. I cut someone toxic from my life lately, and I need a while to recover.  I'll get back to writing soon. Promise.

I'll be posting a brand new story alongside Links of Hyrule. It's going to be very sad, sort of an anti-Link sort of storyline. It's not going to be as lighthearted as LoH, so fair warning.
