            I know they are slower paced but you do it well. But yea I don't think I can do that and I know it's not my style, if I did it, my books would be far too long for starters and I'd do it in a boring way (I think, my stories are pulled forward by the plot and the characters learning, reacting, and growing because of it. So it's usually got a fast pace but I know for sure fast doesn't mean better, don't get me wrong I'm conditioned to think I'm the best writer in the world by my ego and writers passion (I think all writers feel they are somewhat better than they are which is a good thing because we should be positive.) 
            
            
            I am near a library I just got my first Brandon Sanderson book 'Elantris' and Lord of the Flies 'I've heard a lot about it so I felt I had to get it.' I will be checking Mercedes Lackey's stories, thanks for the recs.

            Technically, my books are much slower paced than they should be, especially the zombie ones. You generally want something to hook the reader in the few few paragraphs.
            That was why Natalie had that close call in chapter one.
            
            Mostly, her original goal is to gather food and keep her group safe (quite common in post-disaster or survival situations)
            
            Most of my favorite Wattpad books left over the years, and I haven't read as much on this platform as I used to (the long video ads... web browser bypasses most of them though).
            If you're near a library, I can recommend most of Mercedes Lackey's stories, notably the Valdemar series or the Godmother series.
            I'm currently reading The First Legendary Beastmaster on Novelfire - but it's in progress and will probably take a year or so to be completed due to its length.

@CrystalScherer oh and which books or writers fascinate you on Wattpad? I trust your tastes and I don't feel like going through some novels to get to a good one, so when I find a good writer like you. I kinda get attached and read all their work

            I can convert from Canadian to a currency of choice.
            
            What price feels fair to you? Most standard translation rates are far more than my story would earn in a decade, usually quoting prices in the thousands of dollars. Each book sale on Amazon only gives me $1-2, and my books are quite niche, so I don't get as many sales as one might think. (So I don't want to insult anyone by sugging a low figure - translations are a lot of work since AI can't be used - but with most of my books free to read, I'm on a tight budget.)

@CrystalScherer What price suits you? And in what currency do you want? You can set the price you want as long as it is reasonable!

@Ccyrsljd_tt55 Most of my stories are in contracts that prevent me from translating them.
            I do have a few stories that are unlocked. What rates are you looking at?

            I glanced at your stories, and may I recommend checking my writing guide "Tips for Writing on Wattpad"? I think there are a few things in there that might help you.

            I see a few other readers are having problems, and it's just my books, which is unfortunate. I can't see anything when it comes to the paywalls.
