            Which story are you thinking of? And what rough price estimate?
            What is your drawing process like? (Most sites scan for AI and reject such stories, so you wouldn't be able to use generate AI.)

            Yes, the ones with stories are safe.
            The user just left a comment that said "and".  That was it. It looked like spam or trolling, so I just deleted it.

@CrystalScherer Also did someone leave a comment on your wall with my username attached to it? I thought I saw something about that through my notifications but when I came to check it out it looks like you deleted it. Can you tell me what it was about?

            Good question. I'm not part of the team, or even in that part of the process right now.
            Last I heard, the estimated time was 2-3 months, but they did confirm they will reply to all submissions.

            Which story exactly?
            Most of my stories - over 1.5 million words worth - are completely free.
            Two novels (Looking To Belong and Upon Wings of Change) are free with just an optional bonus chapter at the end being paywalled, which doesn't involve the original characters at all)
            
            I do have 3 series with paywalls. 
            Heartfire is permalocked - but you can earn coins in the coin pouch by watching ads or playing games (Hoping to publish Heartfire on Amazon late 2025/early 2026, although Amazon won't be free either). 
            The Virus Within is also permalocked like Heartfire with options to earn coins.
            Between The Crystals is mostly free while I keep posting, but the last ten chapters will always remain locked.

            That's a good question. It's stock art that one of the graphic designers purchased. I'll ask and see if they'll tell me.

            Most of my advice and tips are covered in my writing guide, Tips for Writing on Wattpad (near the bottom of my stories list). Lots of things I wished I'd known when I first started writing as well as links to various Wattpad communities.

            The biggest reason people self-publish is because the traditional publishing houses can't publish even a fraction of the books they are offered. Or the books might not be exactly what they want. 
            I self-published some of my books because they didn't have romance, and most traditional publishers want romance of some sort in the story.
            
            Many want to go through traditional publishing because then their books can appear in bookstores, they get free editing help, free marketing and promotion of their stories, etc.

@CrystalScherer oh ok. Even though it means you doing everything on your own is that safer than a publishing house? Like trying to keep your work from being stolen or something.

            Not a real romance, no. More adventure/discovery, although there is mild flirting/attraction. A tiny bit more than Heartfire, but not much.
