@Mayfield101 Whatever happened in the past, whatever fears are haunting you... It doesn't define your worth or your right to happiness. Your fear is valid, your pain is real. To have loved so deeply and lost that connection leaves scars that don't easily heal. Whatever happened, whatever led her to leave... it wasn't your fault. You couldn't have prevented it, no matter how much you wanted to.

@Mayfield101 Hello, sorry for the late reply huhu ಥ‿ಥ. I got busy, sleep well. This last poem... it cuts deep, The bittersweet ache of knowing someone dear is absent, that their absence becomes a constant in your life. The way you yearn to share everyday greetings and farewells, to experience the passage of time together..

@Mayfield101 I understand this fear all too well, You're expressing a universal fear and struggle so many people face when it comes to opening up to others. It takes immense courage to acknowledge such hesitations, let alone put them into words. Your admission is both relatable and beautifully written

@Mayfield101 I love how you highlight the irony that while time seems to stand still in those quiet hours, it's actually continuing its inexorable flow. And the line 'the world's never really quiet, just only seems to be...' resonates deeply. There's always something, whether it's our own thoughts or ambient sounds, filling the void.
