I've seen people asking if Harry Potter would win in a fight with Percy Jackson or if Percy Jackson would win in a fight with Harry Potter, and a lot of people say that Percy would win. 
          
          Personally, as a Potterhead (fuck J.K. Rowling tho) and a demigod, I feel like they would be evenly matched. Percy is the strongest demigod ever and Harry has flippin' magic. Both of them have a dark side, both of them are pretty brave and kind of reckless, and both of them are actually kinda smart when it comes to battle strategy. It honestly just depends on whether or not the two decide to go all out on each other, because they're also ridiculously noble at times. All Harry has to do is cast the killing curse on Percy and he would win. And Percy could just, idk, summon a hurricane or drown Harry in water (I doubt Riptide would be able to kill Harry since he's not a demigod). 
          
          But meh, that's just my take on 'Percy Jackson vs Harry Potter'. I COULD say more, but if I do, I'll be here for hours

          A new year, a new me... this is literally so freaky cuz I started 2024 with a Countryhumans/Hetalia obsession and now I'm starting 2025 with a Percy Jackson obsession 

I walked into a bookshop yesterday, intent on finding Skandar and the Chaos Trials, and almost immediately ran into a shelf with several copies of 'The Sun and the Star'
          
          Completely forgot about Skandar, lol

So I was scrolling through Whatsapp, bored outta my mind, and then for whatever reason I click on my class group (yk, the one where teachers send you during-the-holidays homework and stuff) to find this lil' link to Facebook, announcing the winners of this competition that recently had its prize-giving. The ones from my school. There was this, like, preview-thingy of the Facebook post, showing two girls from school who had won 1st place, and I'm just staring at it like:  *dying on the inside*
          
          Why?
          
          'Cuz I entered the same competition and got 1st place in Folktale Reenactment
          
          Was there a mention of that? Nahhh
          
          But meh, maybe they won more than one category. It's not like they were the only girls from our school at the prize-giving. And anyways, I entered the competition back in middle school, so my name wouldn't be on the post with the highschool winners. Also, I didn't check the full post. Plus, recent events have made my hubris (pride) sky-rocket, so I should be glad about the let-down (I've been obsessing over Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus lately, and I've marked 'pride' as my Fatal Flaw. Athena camper, right here.)
